Prompt Engineering Is a Practice Habit
Better prompts come from constraints, examples, and review cycles rather than memorized templates.
Constraints Beat Templates
The most effective prompts are not templates you copy — they are constraints you set. Tell the model what format you want, what to avoid, and what the output will be used for. Specificity is the skill.
Examples Do the Heavy Lifting
One concrete example in your prompt is worth ten adjectives. Instead of "write a professional email", show a sample sentence or tone. The model calibrates to examples faster than descriptions.
Review and Iterate
Treat every output as a draft. Read it critically, identify what is off, and refine the prompt. The habit of reviewing output is what separates people who get good results from people who blame the tool.
